Craig Tanber, a member of a white supremacist gang in Orange County, is being held on $1 Million Bail in the stabbing death outside of a bar in Laguna Niguel. Tanber had been released from prison in June on a conviction for voluntary manslaughter. In the current case, the Orange County District Attorney alleges that Tanber stabbed 22 year-old Shayan Mazroei after an argument occurred outside of Patsy’s Irish Pub. Tanber fled the scene but was arrested at a Westminster Motel 6 after the Orange County Sheriff’s Department received information about his whereabouts.
In addition to the prior voluntary manslaughter conviction, Tanber has also been convicted of dissuading a witness by force, street terrorism and assault with a deadly weapon. He faces up to life in prison for the current case.
