Over the weekend we received a call for a one million dollar bond out of Orange County Jail. The case entailed several violations which include Robbery, Assault and Evading police. Locally to us in Newport Beach, This alleged crime occurred on or about 3:11 pm on December 5th 2014 in the city of Westminster. The assailant was arrested in conjunction with FBI and local law enforcement such as Westminster Police department and Orange County Sheriff.
The suspect, which will remain anonymous in this article, is currently housed within the jail system in Orange County with eight felony charges. The caller that reached us stated that she is his girlfriend and has known him about 5 years. She also stated that she is married but to a separate individual. When I asked about her husband and their current status, she stated that he knew of the relationship and would sign to post bail for the suspect by way of deeding their property in another state.
The reason for this article is to inform you the viewer of our approach to a large bail amount such as one million dollars and what is needed to successfully write a bond of this size. Required property must equal or be close to the bail amount. In this case one million dollars of free and clear equity.

Back to the defendant, his charges are very serious, the risk is very high and the interest considered but with little equity, almost no cash and a property out of state, this bond has yet to be written for a number of reasons.
