Today we received a call from a client who had a warrant in Riverside but was not in custody. He was going to turn himself in to the Riverside County Jail for booking and then wanted to know if we could post bail for him there. This would have been fine but after explaining to him that would be an 18 hour turn around time he wanted to explore other options.
We were able to find a jail / police department that would take him in and book him and then accept our bond and release him almost immediately (within 1 hour). What a difference in his day.
