We were in Central Court in Santa Ana at the same time on another case where bail was set by the judge but while we were attempting to post the bond at the clerks window an immigration hold popped up and the clerk would not release our client. Later at 10pm we discovered at the Orange County Main Jail that the defendant had an immigration hold on another case. We tried but were not able to help out a good client.

We were also in North Court in Fullerton on a bail hearing on a PC293 charge. The client was OR’d as he was deemed not to be a flight risk.
Our Agent Robert appeared on a case in Riverside, bail was granted on a 3rd DUI and set at $25,000. Robert was able to post the bond and secure the release of the client immediately from court prior to being transferred to the main county jail system saving our client roughly 12 hours in the county jail system.
Another strange situation today; We’ve been working on a call from a previous client to post bail for his girlfriend. We have posted bail for him before in the past but not his girlfriend. We arranged to meet with him and he never showed. Now we are into the next day and have still not heard back from the him. Apparently he doesn’t want to get his girlfriend out, hmmmm.
