You can reach the jail at (714) 245-8100 and public parking is available across the street from the jail. The front lobby at the Santa Ana Jail is open from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm from Monday – Sunday.

Visiting hours at the Santa Ana Jail are as follows:

The lobby is closed from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm and 9:00 pm to 7:00 am. Inmates are limited to 2 one-hour visits each week and may only have 3 adult visitors or a combination of 5 adult/minor visitors per visit. An adult must accompany all people under the age of 17 and all visitors must carry proper identification. There is a strict dress code that prohibits short skirts and shorts, crop tops, sundresses, sunglasses, sleeveless shirts or dresses, low-cut tops, clothing that is deemed too provocative or clothing that looks like inmate clothing.

Santa Ana Police Department Pay to Stay Program

The Santa Ana Jail offers a pay to stay program for inmates that qualify. The pay to stay program allows qualified inmates to attend work daily and serve commitments over weekends. All pay to stay inmates must seek court approval, be over the age of 18 and meet residency restrictions. All prospective inmates that wish to apply for the program will go through a health evaluation.   The cost for the program is a $140 first day fee and $110 each additional day fee. The program fees are paid in advance with payment plans available for every two weeks.
