Andres Pacheco, 39, is currently being held at the Orange County jail on $540,000 bail after being arrested in a Real Estate fraud case. Pacheco, of Yorba Linda, is the owner of Franklin Equity Corporation/Signature Escrow. An investigation into the company revealed that he had failed to return $186,000 in escrow for a pending sale that had eventually been cancelled. According to police, eight other victims were found with the same complaint totaling over $500,000 that Pacheco had failed to return in short-sale transactions. Santa Ana Police arrested Pacheco when he appeared at court on another case. Pacheco faces multiple felony counts including grand theft and enhancements for aggravated white-collar crime over $200,000.
