Meghan Breanna Alt was arrested for allegedly producing and distributing illicit photos of an underage family member earlier this month. She reigned as the 2014 Mrs. Orange County and eventually competed in the Mrs. California Pageant. In addition to the child pornography charges, Alt is believed to have used Craigslist to have sex for money allegedly engaging in these acts in front of her children. Alt was charged with lewd and lascivious conduct with a child in addition to the production and distribution of child pornography. Alt reportedly distributed images of her underage family member to a local marine. Alt is being held on $100,000 bail at the Orange County Jail. If the allegations are true, this is a sad fall from grace for the member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who served as a church volunteer. The Vanessa Williams photo scandal that rocked the Miss America pageant in the 80s looks innocuous compared to the allegations against this former Mrs. Orange County.
