Nicholas James Bowling, 28, is currently being held at a Los Angeles County jail on $2 Million bail in the strangling death of his boyfriend. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office alleges that Bowling strangled his boyfriend after a dispute in his Echo Park home. According to reports, Bowling has a criminal past including an arrest for domestic violence and drug possession in 2012. That same year Bowling stole a Los Angeles Police Department vehicle, crashing it into a light pole. The collision totaled the cruiser and caused Bowling to lose both of his legs. The 28-year-old faces up to life in prison if convicted of killing his boyfriend.
