Over the weekend we wrote several bonds. One of which was a $10,000 bond out of Anaheim where a women was charged on a domestic violence case. We received the call around 9pm on Saturday evening from the defendant’s cousin. She and her daughter both wanted to meet me at the Anaheim jail at 10pm. Gladly I drove out to meet them and we sat in front of the jail to fill out paperwork together. I then escorted the two of them to the release center of the jail where they sat and watched as I submitted the bond to the officer. After about 15 minutes of waiting, the officers released the women’s cousin and she came out in tears as she hugged her family. It feels good to bring people together after such hard times.
