Matthew Speck, 31, and his girlfriend Darci Peters, 40, were arrested on suspicion of stealing packages in Anaheim Hills. The couple is being held at the Orange County Jail on $105,000 and $110,000 bail, respectively. The pair allegedly began stealing packages from doorsteps in December and continued throughout the first half of January ruining many residents Christmas. The Anaheim Police Department believes to have surveillance video of the two committing the crimes. Following the arrest, stolen property was found from crimes committed throughout Orange County including thefts in Irvine, Costa Mesa and San Dimas. Speck and Peters are expected to appear in court on February 1 on felony counts of grand theft, conspiring to commit a crime and other charges. Sadly, this seems to be a true Grinch who stole Christmas moment for this couple from Las Vegas.
