Man Impersonating Officer Accused of Fondling Women held on $1 Million Bail

la-police-badgeJoseph Christopher Moore, 39, of Anaheim, is being held on $1 million bail after authorities belief that he fondled two women in Hollywood while impersonating an officer. Surveillance video shows Moore carrying a gun prior to assaulting a woman. In one incident the Los Angeles Police Department has reported that Moore approached a woman as she looked for her keys. He then showed her a badge and searched her while fondling her private areas. Following the incident he pulled a gun on the victim. The next incident occurred in East Hollywood where Moore allegedly followed the woman to a parking area and approached her window displaying a badge and telling her that the registration on her vehicle was expired. He then ordered her from the vehicle and fondled her during a pat down. The Los Angeles Police Department is looking for any other victims who may have been assaulted by the suspect.
