San Diego County Jail Booking Information
We provide bail bonds service at the San Diego County Jail and all
San Diego jails and Police Departments. When a person is arrested in
San Diego they will most likely be taken to the County Jail or a local
Police Department depending on the area they were arrested in.

above. The search feature will allow you to locate an inmate in the San
Diego County Jail system. If an inmate does not appear in the search
it is possible they are not booked in yet. Many jails take several hours
to book an inmate.
People being held in custody for charges from another county will be transferred
to the San Diego County Jail and eventually transferred to the County where their
charges are from. If you wish to post bail for someone in this type of situation
you may do so anytime, you do not need to wait for the person to get transferred
to the originating county.
