Commonly Asked Questions:

How can I post a bail bond for an inmate?

We are a 24 hour bail service company. In the Orange County Jail, if the inmate is a new booking and has completed the booking process or has appeared in court and has been remanded to the custody of the Sheriff, a bail bond will need to be posted at the IRC Cashier's Office. If the inmate has been sentenced, bail cannot be posted.

When does an inmate have to appear in court?

Once a person is arrested and posts bail the court date will be postponed allowing the defendant to prepare for his or her case. It is not necessary to wait for the defendant to see the judge prior to posting bail. Often times a bond can be posted immediately after a persons arrest.
